Over the course of her 20-year career in Nursing, Professor Fluellen has held a variety of clinical and academic roles. She has spent the past 12 years in academia and is currently pursuing her PhD. in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her area of research is to increase engagement in patients with limited English proficiency. She has a passion for education and enjoys preparing students for a successful career in Nursing.
